Are you a fox, rabbit, or wild dog hunter? There are many shooters that would enjoy their sport more if they could take home a set of clean pelts without the mess wayward shots make of their skins. More dollars would be involved if each quarry was shot in the rear roughly leaving most of the pelt clean. The same would apply to ducks and many other animals.

 

maxFynd has developed a unique solution, the BettaPelt target system. It's basically a small solar charged red LED that flashes every 3 or 4 seconds. If it flashes every 3 seconds then a shot discharged at the second flash will more than likely strike the desired point on the target. There is a laser that you can change to a daylight one to land the shot in the area of your choosing. If the flash is every four seconds at the laser point the shot will miss the desired spot. Reiterating, if you only count to 3 seconds before the flash then your shot will more than likely strike the required area on the target. Counting one-thousand-and-one at the flash; one-thousand-and-two; one-thousand-and-three; one-thousand-and-four will give the correct results. 

 

The hardest part is counting regularly so you know the difference between flashes at 3 seconds and 4. This takes a little practice.

 

It requires some practice with e.g. a small gun that shoots rubber projectiles at animals in your test area unless you simply want to try it in the field right away and compare your results with and without the BettaPelt attachment. This is easily attached to your gun using stayput Velcro but preferably some adhesive so your aim remains true. The system will seek any animal posterior but results are up to the shooter's experimentation since we cannot try it on as many animals as are out there. It is therefore sold as a beta unit. We are however totally confident it will work 100% depending on how well the shooter counts and observes the light.

 

The unit is 2 x 1 x 0.5 inches in size and requires a little time in the sun to charge.
