Sandman by maxFynd is an all-range gold detector that affixes to your smartphone as a case.
When it is facing gold whether it is feet or miles away the sand pattern in the case shows an obvious difference.
This is basically a concentration of the sand color in one spot. It can be small but very noticeable, or larger depending on the size of the gold.
The entire process takes about 10 seconds after you turn the case upside down.
It is a boon to divers who need a waterproof detector to examine stream and lake or ocean bottoms. You would be hard pressed to find a detector that does this at any depth anywhere. The Sandman can be used without a smartphone.
